About the Sunset Desert Safari
Short on time, or simply want the best part of the desert? The sunset desert safari is made for you. We pick you up from your hotel in the afternoon and drive out to the dunes, where your driver lets some air out of the tyres and takes you on an exciting 4x4 ride over the red-gold sand.
Then it is time to slide down the dunes on a sandboard, take a short camel ride and enjoy Arabic coffee and dates. As the sun goes down, we stop on top of the dunes so you can watch the sky turn orange and pink — the perfect moment for photos. After sunset we drive you straight back to your hotel, with the rest of the evening free.
The sunset safari is 70 AED per person. Want dinner and shows too? Our full evening desert safari adds a BBQ dinner and live entertainment at the desert camp for 100 AED per person.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the sunset desert safari?
The sunset desert safari is 70 AED per person, including hotel pickup and drop-off, dune bashing, sandboarding, a camel ride and the sunset stop.
What is the difference between the sunset safari and the evening desert safari?
The sunset safari is a shorter trip that ends after sunset, with no dinner or shows. The full evening desert safari (100 AED) adds the desert camp, BBQ dinner and live Tanoura, belly dance and fire shows.
Is dinner included?
No. You get water, Arabic coffee and dates. If you would like dinner and shows, choose the full evening desert safari instead.
Can I pay on the day?
Yes — the sunset desert safari can be reserved with nothing paid online and settled in cash or card on the day.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. Children love the sandboarding and the camel ride. For very young children we can arrange a gentler drive without intense dune bashing.
